Happy New Year and all that jazz – Time to crack on with a fresh new line up of original live music at Traitors!
2015 was a massive success and now that Traitors is officially on the map with entries on Ents 24, inclusion in the Music venues Alliance venue pages and host of other up coming events, gig swaps and collaborations coming your way soon, such as the First Stop festival on March 26th, which is the Spring time sister festival of our Last Stop Autumn festival, showcasing the freshest and best local and regional music talent (line up details coming soon).
So without further a-do, let’s get on with it…
January 2016 live Music at Traitors Gate Pub:
Kick-off the new year is the return of ALT (Alternative Live Thursdays), this Thursday 7th Jan with our favourite local classic rock stars -Indigo – a great band for waking you up from your festive slumber with a blast of loud, raucous rock frivolity. Warning! There will be guitars played behind heads, uber-fast riffs and licks and lost of waving lighter moments! We love it and so will you!
Free Entry from 8pm!
Then this Saturday we have the first offering of uo and coming indie talent from the locale in the shape of Different People, who will be returning to Traitors to perform their debut EP after recently signing to local independent label Backwater Channel. Yet another local legend of a band in the making – these guys may be young but they’ll have you buying their EP from the mercy stand before you can say “I saw ’em first don’t you know!”
Supporting will be newcomers on the Essextuary scene ‘Wax Colour’. Again Free Entry from 8pm!
